In the framework of the cooperation with EKVITA LLC on BP, SMEDA and other partners organized development program, we were invited as local consultants to support regional SMEs’ on financial and management maturity development.
As part of our job, we did consult and advise more than 20 SMEs’ on finance, tax and management, audited and reviewed documentation records, identified areas of potential improvement, and provided guidance on its achievement. We also assisted them with creating financial projections and cash flow management strategies that helped them to better forecast and manage their financial resources.
In addition to our consulting services, we also provided training and support to the SME staff to ensure they were able to maintain the new advice and practices. We were delighted to see the positive results of our efforts when, a few months later, we conducted another maturity assessment. The results revealed a significant improvement in the SMEs that we had consulted, which was a testament to the effectiveness of our consulting services and the commitment of the SMEs to implementing our recommendations.
